The game is still alive for Jody. He has been ranked #1 in the U.S. in both singles and doubles in his 70 and older age group. He has been named as captain of the U.S. team 4 of the last 5 years in senior Davis Cup competition.

Jody's tennis and life philosophy suggests that to become the player one would like to be one needs to bring presence, curiosity, passion, and persistence. He has a discovery based approach that suggests getting out of the head and into the body. "You have to feel it, not think it." His own personal goal is to be at peace on the tennis court.
